Wat kun je verwachten na het consult?
Veel mensen ervaren na een behandeling een verandering van de klacht. Wij streven uiteraard met het consult naar een snelle vermindering van de klachten, wat in de meeste gevallen ook wordt bereikt. Maar soms verandert er niets, of nog niets. Mogelijk liet het lichaam de behandeling (nog) niet toe. In een eventueel herhalingsconsult wordt daar rekening mee gehouden.
Sommige mensen ervaren na de behandeling tijdelijk een verergering van hun klachten. Ook willekeurige andere symptomen kunnen optreden zoals: hoofdpijn, emotionele veranderingen, verandering in de cycli (slaap/waak, menstruatie, etc.) of spierpijn.
Deze reacties op de behandeling verdwijnen in de loop van de daaropvolgende dagen. Soms duurt dit 24 uur, maar soms ook langer. In een enkel geval tot meerdere dagen. Deze veranderingen zijn normaal. Het lichaam wordt door de behandeling even uit zijn evenwicht gehaald, als een soort ‘reset’.
